Today Apple released iOS 8.1.3, a new firmware version that has been in testing for a while. It is said to fix many bugs and stability issues that have 8.1, 8.1.1, and 8.1.2 overlooked. While it sounds like a great option, jailbreakers beware. Version 8.1.3 patches the exploits used in TaiG and PP Ghost causing a permeant loss in jailbreaking until another exploit is found (which can easily take months).
Unless you don’t care about jailbreaking we heavily encourage you to stay on version 8.1.2
As always the new firmware can be updated to via OTA in Settings > General > Software Update or via iTunes.
