As many consumers anxiously await the new features of Apples iOS 8, they have more to look forward to than they think. What this means is that before your iDevice connects to a wifi network, iOS 8 will randomize your MAC address so that your data will be hidden and protected. This serves a great purpose due to the fact that many wifi hotspots log all of your devices information and sometimes even track it. However, thanks to iOS 8, this will be one less worry that iOS users have. Users can surf the web on any public wifi hotspot while knowing that they are protected by a spoof, periodically changing, MAC address.
