Apple has released a third beta of iOS 8.2, versioned as build 12D5452a, for all compatible iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices. The beta software is available now for those registered with the iOS Developer program.
Participating iOS developers can download iOS 8.2 beta 3 from the official Dev Center website, or update through the OTA mechanism on their iPhones and iPads, assuming the device checking OTA is currently running another version of iOS 8.2 beta. Non-developers will not find the update available to them.
iOS 8.2 beta builds include WatchKit and Apple Watch support, suggesting the final release will be required for iPhone users who wish to use their devices with the upcoming Apple Watch product. Presumably, other changes and bug fixes will also be included in the iOS 8.2 build when it is released to the public. Users outside of the developer program who are interested in reading more about the contents of this version may find additional details at 9to5mac.
There is no publicly known timeline for a wider release of iOS 8.2, but typically Apple goes through multiple versions of beta software before issuing a wider public release. The most recent public version of iOS is currently iOS 8.1.2.
Separately, a new version of Xcode 6.2 beta with WatchKit updates is also available on the developer center.
