Apple has been working on many new versions of iOS to work with all their new products including iOS 8.2 which is expected next Monday. Thats right, reports from BGR state that Apple will release the new version of iOS on the date of the spring Apple event which makes perfect sense.
It is rumored that Apple will unveil more information on the Apple Watch including a release date which hopefully will be soon after. iOS 8.2 will most likely be required for iPhone owners that are interested in using the Apple Watch as it will contain the syncing software that will help it run.
As for jailbreaking nothing is known yet about 8.2, however, the Chinese have been on the game and able to release new versions of PanGu and TaiG quickly after their exploits are patched. It wouldn’t be surprising if a new jailbreak for 8.2 was to come out weeks later but by upgrading you will lose your current jailbreak and take the risk.

- Fixes an issue where duplicate iTunes purchased content could prevent iCloud restore from completing
- Resolves an issue where some music or playlists didn’t sync from iTunes to the Music app
- Fixes an issue where deleted audiobooks sometimes remained on the device
