Popular Chinese hacker Group TaiG is organizing a Jailbreak convention in Beijing, China to address the future of jailbreaking. The event is scheduled for March 27th and famous hackers Comex, P0sixninja, Pimskeks and Chronic will be speaking along with members of TiaG. Everything has been planed on short notice so hopefully everything will go as planned
The event will most likely resemble JailbreakCon, the yearly convention that has taken place in the US over the last few years. While a lot of lower level information will be discussed there will also hopefully be some emphasis on iOS 8.2 and 8.3. Currently, there is no jailbreak for 8.2 the most recent public release by Apple on Monday. While it has only been one week the Chinese hacker groups have been on their game and able to provide new jailbreaks faster than ever. Don’t get your hopes up but we should get an update on the status of the new jailbreak by the time of the event.
