Apple Releases iOS 7.1, Jailbreakers Beware

Earlier today, Apple finally released a new the 7.1 firmware for all devices. It has been months since the initial beta testing for developers and most likely will thwart jailbreaking until far into the future. We know for a fact that Evasi0n was patched in the beta and there is a near 100% chance that it still exists in the public release. If you are jailbroken now do not upgrade to 7.1 as a downgrade is near impossible. Due to the effort it takes to exploit iOS and create a jailbreak it is most likely that there will not be a jailbreak for many months to come.

That being said if you do want to upgrade to 7.1 it includes the SSL bug that was patched in 7.0.6. In addition, the upgrade includes many visual changes, most notable in the phone app, and smoothes the animations. The fingerprint sensor accuracy has been improved, and support for the iPhone 4 has been greatly tweaked with.
