BetterPowerDown is an upcoming jailbreak tweak that allows you to change the appearance of your power down slider and enhance it, as the name suggests. The tweak features two themes, a Classic Theme and and Modern Theme. The classic theme is themed much like the iOS 6 power down slider and the Modern Theme is themed much like the iOS 7.1 power down slider. The theme can be configured in the preference pane in Settings under the Mode cell.
Apart from changing the appearance, BetterPowerDown allows you to add a few more sliders to the power down screen, giving you the choice to slide to reboot and slide to respring if enabled. This can be enabled using the Repower toggle in the setting pane for BetterPowerDown. BetterPowerDown conveniently has a kill switch at the very top that allows you to quickly enable and disable the tweak.
BetterPowerDown is developed by CoolStar who is renowned in the community for creating a series of Classic tweaks that bring back the feel and theme of iOS to iOS 7 in various features ranging from the SpringBoard to the lockscreen. All of his works are on Cydia, available for download on the BigBoss repository.
BetterPowerDown will be available soon on the BigBoss repository for $0.99, considering that CoolStar has built the tweak from the ground up with custom animations for the sliders.
