Over the last few months Kickstarter has seen many new great projects that great have broken records. The newest one, Pebble Time is on track to beat all funding records in less than a week. Only a little over a day since launch, Pebble Time has approached it’s past campaign that broke the record years ago. All this, and the page has been up for less than two days!

Pebble Time is a new smart watch designed by the previous team to compete with the Apple watch. The watch features a color E Ink screen, and a new layout with a timeline interface and design changes. The Pebble Time comes in at around $170 making it most likely far cheaper than the Apple watch. In addition, the Pebble Time boasts a battery life that lasts approximately seven times the speculated Apple Watch.
